Why Should I Attend the Conference?

Working with young children is not easy. What do you do when children display challenging behavior? What sorts of activities do you do with infants and toddlers, and can you make toys from materials you have at home? What are important things to do with children under the age of 5? The LifeCourse Framework. What is it and how does it help families with children with disabilities? These and other questions will be addressed during classes offered at the Heroes child care conference April 27–28.

The Heroes Conference is for child care providers and parents. It really is beneficial to anyone who cares for, or cares about, young children. This year we have Deborah McNelis, of BrainInsights, to speak to us about different aspects of brain development. We also have a wide selection of breakout sessions on a broad range of topics that will interest anyone in the field. Most of all, it is a time to relax, to connect with those who do the job we do, day in and day out, and refresh and restore ourselves. This is a time to get away, get rid of the distractions, and really focus on the important aspects of our work while also relaxing and refreshing ourselves. Take some time away. And, if you own your own child care, this is a business expense. You'll be very glad you came.
