FCCPSD Conference SponsorshipsThe Need for Training

Children’s minds, bodies and emotions are highly influenced by the  quality of care they receive during the care hours outside of the home. Quality of care is correlated with quality training experiences. Training costs can be prohibitive to centers and family child care providers alike. This year we are focusing on reducing our pricing structure in order to bring this educational opportunity to a wider audience which will include parents as well as providers.

Children Are Our Legacy

John Whitehead once said, “Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.”
In a state with a high percentage of both parents working outside the home, one of the biggest concerns is finding quality affordable child care. Take the initiative to positively influence, nurture, and build the teams in your life including your family, your day care families, your work team.

Investment in quality care is an investment in your employees.  When parents are assured their children are receiving care from trained providers, they are lessed stressed, more productive and miss fewer days of work.
Communities benefit through practices that encourage mental and social development through training care giving and those who need supportive services receive it earlier by providers identifying the need earlier in children’s development.

Your Support

In order to reduce the fees, we need your help. We are anticipating an attendance of 100. Please consider partnering with us in 2019.
Your donation will help the conference reach more providers with 16.5 hours of information about brain development, autism, quality learning environments, activities, behavior guidance, social development, and much more.

Family Child Care Professionals of South Dakota Inc., a 501(c)3 organization, is a volunteer association of family child care providers, center providers and resource partners. We organize an annual training conference to educate providers in a variety of areas from child guidance to child development, to emergency preparedness, nutrition and health and safety in child care.
