FCCPSD is planning its 14th annual conference, Initiative, at the Watertown Event Center!

We have always had wonderful presenters that give of their time to let providers hear their messages. If you have a message that you think providers and parents need to hear, we'd love to give you the means to do it. We mail brochures to each of our members and as many as one third are unregulated providers. We are one of the few ways unregulated providers are reached. Let us help you reach a wider audience with your message. Send us your proposal by November 15 and we will let you know no later than December 10 if we can use your presentation.

To submit your proposal, click on button or the words "Proposal Form" and fill out the form. Remember to hit "submit" at the end.

Conference Session Guidelines

FCCPSD will provide you a complimentary lunch each day you attend and complimentary conference General Admission Ticket for one presenter.

The presentation should reflect current trends/issues occurring in today’s society. The audience will be providers from the family child care (regulated and unregulated), group home and center staff communities. We anticipate parents will also be in attendance.

Presentation sessions are scheduled for 90 minutes in length. A few will be offered that are 3 hours, split into two parts. Please let us know if you would be interested in this option.

We will have a screen, projector, PowerPoint remote clicker, table and water station in each presentation room. You will bring your own laptop so we can be assured your program will run on it.

The Ramkota has sleeping rooms for us at a discounted rate of $94.99, so call the hotel directly to book your room and mention FCCPSD.

Presenters will be responsible for their own handouts. We can email class handouts prior to the conference to those who have signed up for your class or we can send materials after the conference is over. Alternately, you can get email addresses from the attendees and do this yourself after the conference. In addition, materials may not be sold during the presentation unless special permission is granted by the conference committee.
